Happy Saturday (also this is my 100th post on IG 🥳)! The weather is starting to take a turn in AZ, hopefully it gets in the 80s this week… Anyways, I finished one of the most surreal novels I have read this year, Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder. The alarming cover and title drew me in, and after devouring this read, I was really a fan of this strange novel! ✨

Another thriller down as spooky season ensues! I’m back on audiobooks and finished The Family Plot by Megan Collins. This is the first novel I read by Collins, and the plot sounded really intriguing! But after close listening, I can’t say I loved it as much as I thought I was going to..

Hello 🌱 Hope you’re all having a good weekend! My latest read made me feel hungry and sad all at once. I was on the library waitlist for this popular book, Crying in H Mart, for awhile, but I’m glad I finally got to read it this week! ✨🍜

I hope everyone is having an okay Saturday! 🌥 I had a quiet morning finishing a book about the female characters who survive at the end of a horror film after watching their friends/family be killed by a man with a machete, axe, knife, etc.. The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix is a satirical tribute to ‘Final Girls’, the female archetype in horror films that I just described. But, after reading Hendrix’s latest novel, I was not very charmed 💀✨

It’s September so does that mean spooky season is here? 👻 I’m going to say yes… also happy Labor Day! I hope everyone had a great day off, if you did. I finally finished over audiobook Scott Thomas’ novel Kill Creek. If you are looking for something spooky to pick up, definitely consider reading this one! ✨

Ghost Forest by Pik-Shuen Fung was a provoking quick read! 🌺 Not sure how this one came up on my radar, but it was definitely worth picking up. This is Fung’s first novel, and it was beautifully written… and it has a fantastic cover ✨ ———
